Established in 2000, Evergreen Plus Company Limited (“EGP”) is currently a Producer of Biomass Energy, owned by reputable and highly experienced Thai investors. The main objective of EGP is to acquire various equipments to set up a pulp mill with production capacity of 400,000 ton of pulp per year of operation.

EGP has obtained a vital approval from Board of Investment, Thailand and fully eligible for promotion benefits and tax privileges such as :

  • Import duty on Machinery is fully exempted.
  • Corporate Income Tax for 8 years from date of commercial production is exempted.
  • Dividend earned by shareholders during this period is exempted from Tax.
  • Can engage Expatriates in the field of engineering, operation and management from foreign countries.
  • Approval of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) from the government.

EGP obtained license from Industrial Works Department to build the pulp mill.

As EGP is in the process of acquiring equipments and machinery for the pulp mill, the management has successfully constructed a Biomass Power Plant as part of the pulp mill. The Biomass Power Plant has a maximum capacity of  9.8 MW and currently running and generating revenue and profit for the company. EPG Power plant produces Biomass Power from Wood and Wood bark as Biomass fuel and their operation is quite successful with an average Capacity Utilization around 95%.
With the encouragement and support from the government in using renewable fuel

to produce electricity, the management foresee the opportunity in utilizing the residual from the woodchips production which is part of pulp mill operation in future and expand power generation from Biomass. The power being generated is sold to national Grid regularly.

The power plant has obtained CDM (Carbon Credits) approval by UN and ISO certification.

The management has devised a strategy of implementing the Pulp Mill production of 400,000 TPY in Two Phases, II and III. As Phase II the mill shall produce Unbleached Kraft Pulp to a capacity of 200,000 TPY and this phase is scheduled to be commissioned in early 2020.

Continue from phase II, 400,000 TPY Bleached Pulp mill shall complete installation of balance plant and machinery before year 2023 to reach full capacity.
